Just another trip.

Thursday we went to the middle school again. We finised up our handwashing lesson and the kids were sad to see us go. It was sad to leave but I have to get back to my speical education kids. I introducted my fellow teacher academy student to them and she loved them! I knew she would they are great kids.

Wednesday Kali and I decided to partner up at the middle school. We made copies for Mrs. Waguspack and Mrs. Lindsey. We also made birthday cards in the art room for a middle school teachers. All together it was another great day.

i love you , copy, staple

Thursday we went to see the little ones again at the elementary school. We did another lesson on hand washing again. I really liked this one. We walked in and the kids were so excited to see us. First we went over the hand washing techniques and then we put on a little video for them. While they watched we put some glow stuff on the ball. When the video was over we passed the ball around. Well turns out the lotion that we put on it actually glows under a black light so we were able to show them how germs get passed around so easiley. When we were leaving a little girl came and gave me a hug and told me she loved me.

Friday we went back to the middle school. I learned that teaching requires a lot of stapling, sorting, and mostly copying. I made at least 120 copys friday and stabled over 80 papers. It was so tedious. I didn't really mind it though. I am there to help and that is what I did. I helped her a lot. It definetly saved her time by me doing it. I am actually enjoying the middle school a lot.

Squeaky Clean Memory Lane

I had a wonderful field exprience. We worked with the Health and Science students and I honestly enjoyed it. I got to read a story to the little ones and they had all these questions! They were so cute! We put glitter on their hands and some of them washed with water and the others washed with soap. Then the kids compared the difference. We taught them this little song to sing when they are washing their hands! It goes, "top and bottom .. top and bottom... In between in between .. rub it all together.. .rub it all together.. squeaky clean squeaky clean.... ." By the time we left everyone was singing and like 15 kids had pictures they drew for me.

Now here comes the fun part so friday we went to the middle school! I was so beyond excited!!! I was ready to show my old teachers how far I come ! So when we first got there we were greeted by Dr.Taylor and Mr. Aube. We talked about what was expected of us and what we were going to be doing. I really wanted Mrs.Martinez but I was told that it was her off block. I got Mrs.Brown instead but she is really nice and I can already tell me and her were going to get along great. She let me go see Mrs. Martinez and she didn't even reconize me! I told her about how good my grades were and how well I was doing. She told me how proud of me she was. I was so happy to see her. All and all I had a great day!
